Finyx joins forces with Woodhurst to strengthen full service delivery capability across financial services and public sector

Finyx today announces that they are joining forces with Woodhurst, a UK-based consultancy specialising in strategy, operating model design and hands-on delivery across banks, building societies and specialist lenders.

Woodhurst brings deep expertise in supporting financial institutions through complex modernisation programmes, from shaping strategic direction through to implementation, with a clear focus on outcomes, pace and delivery confidence.

Finyx has nearly two decades of experience partnering with clients to deliver transformative outcomes they could not achieve alone. With over 100 consultants, Finyx operates across Government, Law Enforcement and Financial Services, with offices in Belfast, London and York.

The deal reflects a growing demand in the market for a different kind of consulting partner, one that combines the breadth and capability to deliver serious change with the focus, care and senior attention typically associated with smaller firms.

Together, Finyx and Woodhurst aim to address a gap between pure play advisory firms, which often lack delivery capability, and large global consultancies, where clients can feel like an afterthought. The combined business will offer clients a partner that is both sufficiently scaled to deliver complex programmes and sufficiently focused to remain closely aligned to client outcomes.

The two firms will continue to operate with a strong focus on delivering current client commitments. Integration will follow a phased approach, with synchronisation during 2026, integration in 2027, and optimisation in 2028. Over time, clients can expect access to a broader range of services, delivered to the same standards and underpinned by the same values.

“Woodhurst is a natural fit, with strong alignment in both what we do and how we do it. We share a client-first approach to transformation, working alongside organisations to deliver meaningful outcomes rather than simply advising from the sidelines. Even in a short time, we have demonstrated the strength of the combination, collaborating across data, delivery and regional capability, and exploring opportunities in areas such as AI and digital skills. Together, we bring a powerful mix of shared values and complementary experience, creating a platform to expand our services and industry reach. Ultimately, this is about building one firm with a clear purpose and a shared set of values over time.”
